I created an XSVCD at 720x576 PAL/VBR 3000 using MissingMpegTools.
During creation I had to choose the "MPEG2"-Option in MMT to get it to work, also when mplexing video and audio.
Choosing the "User-Rate"-option for SVCD when converting would deliver an error:
"[mpeg2enc] opt_vbv_buffer_size must be in range 1..(2^18-1)"
Choosing the "User-Rate"-option for SVCD when mplexing would deliver:
"too many frame drops"
As i said before, choosing the "MPEG2"-option seemed to fix this.
When i play back the resulting XSVCD (?) in my Pioneer DV 343,
itīs like a preview of the next frame is displayed in a field on the bottom
of the screen. Itīs about screenwide x 1 inch or something.
The video inside both fields is basically ok, whith distortion and artefacts
on the boarder.
As usual, any advice would be greatly appreciated :-)
