What is the best way to burn a DIVX to watch on stand alone?

I downloaded a divx movie that is 699mb and want to watch it on my stand alone? Is it possible? I can play this movie on my computer with a divx player and it looks and sound great. Will the quality and sound stay the same? Can anybody give me step by step? By the way I have an APEX dvd player can I just burn the divx file to blank cd and play in my Apex? unfortunately divx files cant be played on stand alone DVD players, life would be easier if they could! u need to convert the divx avi into an mpeg file, this involves stripping the audio first then using an mpeg encoder to create an mpeg file which is then burnt into the vcd format using nero(or others).All the software to do this is available in the tools section and how exactly to do it is in HOW TO CONVERT divx to vcd section.Its not that hard to do but can take a little bit of time.........
