  1. I have an mpeg file. I try to extract the audio from virtual dub and it says: Pack Synchronization Error. I think i read somewhere that this is an error for MPEG2 and VirtualDub doesnt handle MPEG2. I think I have and MPEG2 file because when i play it on PowerDVD it says Mpeg2, so i am assuming its mpeg 2. And if i try to put the audio and video source as the mpeg file in TMPGENC, then the audio is out of sync.

Is there a way for me to extract audio from this mpeg file and use it as the audio source and the mpeg file itself for the video source in TMPGENC?

BTW. This was a cue/bin then i converted it to mpeg using VCDGear cuz my dvdplayer only plays the DVD when i check DO NOT FRAMERATE CONVERSION in TMPGENC. I have a PANASONIC A320 DVD Player.

Out of curiosity: Is the Panasonic Encoder better for Panasonic DVD Players?

EDIT: When i demultiplex it and use the m2v as video source and mp2 as audio source i get the same sync problem.

Easy. Some people use a stopwatch, others play it by ear. The second way is a little more of trial and error, but you learn more in the long run.
