  1. Can anyone provide me with any help getting CCE v2.50.01 to work with avisynth v1.05? I tried everything. I can get a simple .avs file to playback an .avi in Media Player. The next .avs file I created for CCE was very simple:

    LoadPlugin("C:\windows\system32\mpeg2dec.dll")
    mpeg2source("C:\DVD\movie.d2v")
    ResampleAudio(44100)

The last line is added as per the Doom9 tutorial to fix crashing under AMD CPU's (of which I have two).

I can get VFAPI to work just fine, but avisynth is eluding me Any help or suggestions?

  2. I guess CCE crashes every time you drag and drop an AVS file into it Here is how to work around it.

Open CCE and drop a normal AVI file into it, then save ECL file and close CCE. Open ECL file with a text editor and replace all references of AVI file to AVS file and save the change. Reopen CCE and open this new ECL file, your AVS is loaded Then you can tweak the settings for your encoding.

  3. Thanks for the reply I did a little more research and found a newer version of mpeg2dec.dll and avisynth.dll. This fixed my crashing.
