My saga began.
I purchased Ulead DVD picture show, which is very simple to use. BUT the VCD's will not play in my Stand alone DVD player {SAMSUNG} properly, It is as thought they are in fast forward. I have tested these movies in other plyers and all is well.
So i tried Slide Show Movie Maker, And was impressed with the quality.
These movies work very well, but i have no idea how to put a menu on the VCD so i can have more then one slide show per disk, I know very little about all of this so the easier the better, I did try VCDEASY But if you call that easy i must be really dumb.
Any help would be appriciated.
Dave

Are you making PAL disks? Even if you aren't, are you all patched up?
"DVD PAL photo slide show accuracy problem: Fixes certain accuracy problems (e.g. timing) when creating DVD slide shows in the PAL format."

There are a couple of patches there. As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
I did run the patches, The VCD's are Pal and run perfectly on my PC and the 2 other stand alone DVD players but not on my Samsung Stand alone Player, Yet the dozen or so VCD's{Movies i have made all play OK} I am only haveing problems with Ulead.
