I had downloaded the Vanessa Carlton - Ordinary Day music video in ASF video format with Kazaa.

I wanted it as a VCD compliant Mpg so I could play it on my DVD player. I found the audio was not good enough quality to convert so wanted to use the Mp3 track of the same song as the audio.

I tried using TMPGEnc but the audio was about 2 seconds ahead of the video.

I found on this forum a mention of a program called Goldwave which could help me.

I used the program to add 2 seconds of silence to the beginning of the Mp3 track which I then used with TMPGEnc to convert with the video and it worked!!

I had timed with my stopwatch that it was about 2 seconds difference and it seems I was right!

I still wish there was a program that could play a video and separate audio file at the same time so you could get a more accurate time difference.

Is there such a program?

I used TMPGEnc 2.5 with an ASF file? I thought it only worked with an old version?
