    Hi, I got a pioneer 104 in my new computer and the fastest ripping speed i can get is 2.0X. I am asking other owners of the A104 to post if they get faster or the same. Thanks in advance.

    hi,

    this is about right, for ripping speed on the 104

    i use my samsung dvd rom for ripping dvd, and get up to 6x, sometimes faster, ie, lord of the rings, dvd 1, took 18 minutes to rip(6.51 gig)
