    I'm trying to backup "True Lies", and when I load Smartripper it says "some files are still locked, try to unlock with a player". I've never had this error, what can I do to fix it? I've played the movie with WinDVD while trying to rip it again, but same error.

    I'm suffering a bit with that. Have you tried DVD ENCRYPTER ? I find that is better.

    Ok, unless you have an ASPI Layer installed, you must unlock your DVD Drive by playing a small portion of the movie first, then stop it and rip it.

    you will have to do this every time you insert a disc.
