I'm putting together a highlight video for a football player. I know all about capturing from a VOB file, etc. In any event, the DVDs his coach gave me are not importing. My Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Version, is not recognizing the disk. It seems there is a lock on the DVD. Ultimately, after I tried importing it a few times it said that the IFO files were either in use, or locked. I downloaded an IFO Decrypter, created files, but it's still not working. Is there anything I can do? His coach is on vacation and I have a deadline. I would appreciate help on this matter. Thank you for your time.![]()

You put the DVD onto the hard drive? Is there something you can try besides a Pinnacle product? Just to test if this is a Pinnacle-only problem? Can you, for example, open the IFO in AutoGK, VobBlanker, or PGCDemux?

Gosh, that's a great question. I'm not to sure about AutoGK, VobBlanker, or PGCDemus. All that I know is that the DVD seems to have a lock on it, almost like a protection on it. It's odd that it would be protected b/c it's simply a high school's game video(s). However, it seems that is the case.

And yes, like all of the videos I load. I simply put them in the hard drive, and 9 times out of 10 the importer/capturer reads the file, I check/select want I want to load, which is usually the entire video. And sometimes I get these videos in a VOB file, and that hasn't been a problem for me. This one has been a big problem.
