Are you sure you installed CCE properly? Are you using a trial version? CCE costs aproximately $2000 as I recall. If you simply downloaded a trial version, it will put a CCE logo on your video, but you should still be able to see the actual movie. In order to remove the logo you have to purchase the program. DVD2SVCD will also allow you to use TMPGEnc instead of CCE.

  4. Hi all!

When encoding using TMPGenc, quality is nice. But wait till you see a SVCD done with CCE !!!
I think the problem is that when you download the trail version of CCE, it's probably the latest one. What you need to make GOOD (!) SVCD's is CCE v2.50. This will create super quality SVCD's. If you use the trail, you'll get the anoying logo, but it will give you a good impression of the quality difference between TMPGenc and CCE. (CCE supports multi-pass VBR encoding up to 9 passes!!)

Do a search for audio sync problems. This topic has been discussed at length on many threads. A search on the Doom9 forum would also help as would posting your log file or at least the settings you are using especially those under the rip and under the encode tabs. Without more information it is impossible to tell what might be causing your problem.

  7. I'm using all the setting's that the guide on doom9 recomends follow this link and it will show you http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm i think it might be possible it's cause i'm using tmpg 12i which is a old version but you probally already know that but someone has sent me a copy of the trial version of cce that is recomendid for dvd2svcd so i'm gonna take a shot at that and see what happens

YOU HAVE TO USE "SAFE MODE" ON THE ENCODER TAB WHEN USING CCE 2.62 OR 2.64
Where I walk, I walk alone. Where I fight, I fight alone.
