Hi
Could anyone help me with getting subtitles for My "home video". Maybe also the titles and names I want in the end of the film, where it is going from bottom to the top (as in motion picture films).
I have digitalize the video to AVI through my program: DC10plus (Pinnacle).
Please help me with the right software and instructions.
Marty

You can use SubStationAlpha, www.eswat.demon.co.uk/substation.html to create subtitles.
If you want the subtiles merged with the movie you can use VirtualDub, www.virtualdub.org, and the subtitler-filter, www.virtualdub.org/downloads/subtitler-1_3b.zip.
Then it up to you what kind of format you want to output to. You can frameserve the movie to e.g. TMPGEnc if you want MPEG1 or 2 output. Otherwise VirtualDub will let you encode it in other formats depending on what codecs you got installed.
