I would like to convert my home video tapes to either DVD or at least VCD. I see companies like LIFECLIPS want $30.00 a tape to convert. This would be at least $600 for the tapes that I have. Should I look into doing it myself and besides a large harddrive, say 60 GB, a video capture card, and a dvd burner, and software, is there anything else I would need and would it be worth it? I'm looking at buying a new computer this christmas.
