  1. Hello Everyone, I want to go buy one of this software but not sure which one offers more features and ease of use without steep learning curve. If someone have any experience with these baby please express your opinion. Thanks

Note: I know some people would argue about new features of Premiere 6.5, MediaStudio 6.5, and Vegas Video 3 etc. but I would also like to know above two. Thanks

  2. It depends on what you want to do with the programs. Are you intending to make films or simply cut stuff you recorded from television.

We're currently cutting a film together using an AVID and I know you can do a lot with it. But it's an expensive program.

I've used Premiere, and Media Studio Pro and they're about the same. I lean towards Media Studio as it's really a simple but powerful program. However, there are less plugins available for Media Studio Pro, so if you want to add special effects or transitions etc, you'd be better off using Premiere. But it's a matter of taste...

But in the end, if it's just about tv - use the free tools available and save the money.
