    in the AVI, I can watch and listen to the sound but I loaded it in TMPGEnc, it says the sound can not open, or unsupported

    what's wrong? I have the almost all the codec installed
    and this is my setting for converting "Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)"

    oh btw, I redownloaded still dont work... and I tried few other AVI clips, they works fine...

    Try extracting the audio in VIRTUALdub then after it tells you the sound cannot be loaded in TMPGEnc just go ahead and load the ripped audio you got outta Vdub. And if that doesn't work just try using a different encoder. Like panasonic or something.
