This is one area that TMPG does not do very well/precisely. It is very inconsistent. Some days great cut, next day horrible. It does a good job joining though.

What I do is a simple demultiplex in TMPG (this separates the video and audio streams). The I use BBMPEG (free download) to multiplex (put audio and video back together in on file) and cut precisely.

There is a tutorial, if you are interested, over in the "EDIT" green section on the left of your screen.

so from 0 to 52 its OK but 52 to 60 it wont work ?
    What about 53 to 60 ?

If there is anything wrong, it may drop out. Try cutting from 0 to end then use that save to try what your doing.

why not cut in half ?, it works fine this end, so I suspect there are problems with the mpeg.

You have waited for it to stream though to the part you want ??

I think the problem is with the .dat file.
    One more thing.
I can join some vcd(.dat) together but some of them, I can't make it.
As an example, A can merge with B but A and B cannot merge with C
TMPGenc shows, "MPEG file not compatible"

any other software can do de-multiplex other than TMPGenc?

If you get TMPGEnc complaining about mpeg 1's not being the same as each other, just load each one into merge&cut and save it back out. This will correct minor problems, and make them all compatible with each other.

Make sure you select the "MPEG 1 Video cd" from the drop down list. Check each file is ok before you then join them.

Sometimes at the join, the number of frames from each one may be incorrect, so snipping off the start and end of each one (A few frames from the end/start) will stop any join problems, like sync or bleeps. TMPGEnc will jump to the nearest key before it cuts.
