hi,
i'm wondering if someone could help me out. I have Austin Powers 3: Goldmember on DVD and it is 3.7gb. I am wanting to make a copy of it, but I don't have a dvd recorder. So, i'm wondering if someone can tell me how I can put it onto a 700mb disc. I know it has something to do with ripping but i'm not 100% sure. If someone knows where I can find out that tells me how to rip the DVD and put it onto a 700mb disc in an easy way then please let me know.
thanks,
Jonathan Cooper

you have to cut the movie file down so it fits on the cd, use TMPGEnc to do that.

Or you could use one of the wonderful dvd ripping guides on this site to compress it to divx and fit it on one cd with fairly minimal quality loss. Then again it'd prolly be easier to download it off of kazza and save yourself the headache of ripping and encoding to divx.
