avi->DiVX Doctor->mpg->Toast=green video w/audio

Greetings.

I have an .avi file I'd like to get to VCD status for play in my apex 660.

I dumped the .avi into DiVX Doctor II, which gave me a.mov.

So far so good.

I then dragged the .mov onto Toast Ti 5.1.4, which started the conversion to .mpg.

The completed .mpg has solid green video with normal audio. It plays this way on my computer, and my dvd player.

The files previous (the .avi and the .mov) both played fine on my computer.

Any and all help/suggestions appreciated.

If you are using MacOS X there is a program called AVi2mov..http://mpeg4.jamby.net/
I use this converter to make a mov-fil, dropping it into toast...the result has alway been good..
