    Ive got some avi movies that i wnat to play on my dvd player.

    How do i proceed to do that what software do i need etc

    I suggest the "CONVERT" link in the green section to the left of your screen as a good start. Many guides are available and answer your question entirely.

    Most DVD players accept VCD and SVCD disks. SVCD is the higher quality of the 2 formats.
