    This might just me me but i have tried several times to rip a copy of swordfish only to keep getting the trailer with the sounds of the movie.I have ripped other dvd's with no problems using TMPGenc.Anyone help?

  2. I have done my rips different ways, but my Swordfish I did with dvdx and it is probably one of the best rips I have. If a rip does not work with one kind of program, use another. Just read up on how to use it and let it go over night.

    FYI - Smartripper works fine with the R2 DVD of swordfish (or did for me anyway..)

    Can you be more specific as to your previous steps? What ripper did you use? Smartripper? etc. etc.

  5. if it is region 2 the first vob file has a 30 min interview with a trailer and the first 8 secs of the movie are at the end i used smart ripper to rip all the other vobs and dvd-avi with tmpgenc to encode and had no problems whatsoever but you will need to cut the last 8 secs of the begining of the movie from the first vob file and join it to the front

    I have got swordfish ripped ok.I downloaded smartripper which done it ok.
