  1. I have winxp and ive tired using vcdgear to convert bin/cue to mpeg format and nero to burn to vcd. I get the 5 folders and ive tried the disk in 4 differnt dvd players that say they play vcds and it doesnt seem to work

    what does everyone with xp use?

  2. For burning a bin/cue vcd? I don't know about the rest of the world, I tend to mount the image with VirtuaDaemon and then copy with Clonecd.

  3. Hi all,

    It kinda depents on what you wanna do with it. A nice option would be to use DeamonTools to mount the image as a regular cd. This way you can play, copy etc the virtual cd. If you just wanna burn the cd, CDRwin is the best tool to go for. It's real small (the 3.x versions..) and can even be run from floppy. So no registry stuff or external files are needed.

    I've never had any luck with Nero made VCD's either, but VCDEasy gives me no problems at all. Provided that your burner is supported by cdrdao, just update your aspi layer with the Adaptecs XP aspi!
