  1. The problem I am having is recording from Digital TV through my Gforce4 4600 graphic card...
I can use the Winproducer software that came with my card and it records perfectly from any available source.. The only problem with that is that the only dvd resolution I can capture at is at 352 x 288 which is quarter dvd.. This is the only dvd option in the output profile on the program.
However if I use a program such as Winproducer then it allows me to capture at 720 x 576 which is Full Pal dvd, but then there is a large white bar across the middle of the finished mpeg, which I presume is macrovision..

Can anyone help me out or has anyone any ideas why the Winproducer only has the 1/4 dvd profile in the options??

P.S I forgot to add that when first starting the Winproducer and you go to profiles it has all available profiles in there including dvd full. You can select this and it tells you that you have selected it on the properties bar. When you click on the input sources and then select Nvidia capture driver then the option changes and you only have dvd 1/4 in there..

    Any help is much appreciated

The same problem as you I had it once too
I purchased this product called "Copy Master" which has Video In & Video Out, it is a enhancer, it totally fixed that problem for me.
I noticed you are in the UK so I am not sure if you can get it there
