hello everybody
well, i'm a newbie in dvd ripping... ripped 2 dvds with dvd2svcd with tmpeg yet (which takes really long btw)... today i wanted to encode a movie (gone in 60 seconds) in 3 parts (with every part a few chapters ~11), because my pc is really slow and it takes up to 25h when encoding in 1 part... so i'd like to split it in 3 parts... coz then i have 3 small time units ( 8 hours and some mins)
i read on doom9.net tutor ( http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm ) that i can click on the movie length and that i can choose then which chapters i wanna rip...
well this simply doesnt work... i can click and click and click but nothing happens...Press the Disc button and DVD2SVCD will automatically load the main movie IFO file. Selecting the Movie length dropdown list will get you to a window where you can select the chapters you want to convert. By default this is set to all chapters. In the Track Length dropdown list (shown when you activate the movie length dropdown list) ...
hope you can help me![]()

Ran into the same problem when trying to encode just a few chapters for testing purposes.
The chapter list is only available if you select 'Activate DVD ripping' on the 'DVD rip' tab.
Hope it helps,
