The ritek dvd+r's are the cheapest ones i've seen on the net this far. Has anyone had any problems with this media or is it best to stay with the high ass priced brand name dvd+r's.

Many people in DVDplusRW.org Forum have said they have had no problem with Ritek DVD+R. Now, there are $2.3 TDK DVD+R disks as well so I expect there will soon be $1.9 DVD+R media on the retail market in this month.

Well, the $2.30 TDK's may be fine, but they are not in stock. I went to www.rima.com and bought a ten pack of the Ritek DVD+'s. The shipping was only $3.32, but I did pay CA sales tax. So, I am at $3.03 per disc.

Right now OfficeMax has a $20 off $100 coupon. Check out this link for details on how to get 20 HP DVD+R media for $3.75 ea. + tax (for CA at least) and free shipping.

WOW! I got my Ritek media already. The advantage of being about 45 miles from Rima. I will be getting a DVD from Netflix tomorrow and will give one of the disc's a test run!

I've had ZERO bad burns with Ritek DVD+R's and my Philips 985.
