  1. Which program do u think is the best for re-encoding them oversized DVDs. Which is the fastest and more reliable etc.

    if my choice is to use rempeg or tmpegenc, then i choose to buy the retail dvd =) neither produce results that are acceptable to me. i very very rarely use rempeg to transcode a vob and only when that vob : 1) is dvd extras 2) has more than 5 PGC . otherwise what's the point. you get poor quality, no consistency, a huge wait time. CCE will give you output that is dvd quality even if it is a lower bitrate than the original work. and it provides you with much more control and maybe equally important a realtime or better than realtime encoding environment
