Using TMPG 2.55 with DVD2SVCD at CQ 80. Makes everything seemingly correctly, but once I play the produced MPG file .. it will just be a green screen with no video (sounds work).
I was able to make a video properly the very first time, but since then I can't get a non-green screen video anymore with TMPG. I've deleted and unzipped the files.. hopefully this is an easy solution.

ok i'm a bonehead.. I had been using 2.54 with the 2.54 VFAPI files. When I upgraded to 2.55, apparently they're not compatible or so .. and when I deleted and reinstalled, I didn't put back the VFAPI files.
So, right now using 2.54.. hopefully that's the problem. -
well, just finished an encode.. same green screen.
any ideas ?

You may want to try install new mpeg2 codecs. I had a problem with just a green bar at the bottom. I installed the mpeg2 codecs on this site and it took care of it.
