  1. I am new to DVD burning, I just got a new computer - Apple Dual 1Ghz G4, 1 gig RAM, Superdrive - the works. I was curious if anybody knows the answer to this question though. I have a Hitachi DV-P305 DVD player that plays audio CD's and DVD-R's but not CD-R's or MP3's. I was curious if I could burn a DVD-R full of audio and play it in my DVD player. If anyone knows the answer I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks.

  2. Oh it's me again, I forgot to put this above. I also have a DVD that is scratched and I would like to save the whole thing onto my computer and RE-burn it onto a DVD-R. I would like to keep the menus, special features, everything. Can anyone help me with this too?

I am sure you can, but if the DVD is scratched you may have heck of a job trying to "Rip" the DVD if it hits a bad spot, take a look at the guides here on DVD ripping, people are using "Smartripper"
