I used VCDGear to convert the bin cue files into an mpg file which I then loaded into TMPGEnc which previously worked perfectly and I was able to encode the mpg and burn it to a cd (my DVD player reads VCDs).
"..cannot open, or is unsupported" is the error I get.
A thought did occur to me that the bin/cue files are SVCD, but I'm not sure why that would affect anything.
Please some help - I'm firing in the dark here.
I'm going to try to burn the bin/cue files now as they are and see if that works -- Will update!

The reason I was having an error was due to the bin/cue files -- they were misnamed and ended up being a game, not a movie!
