Does this card require the PC resolution to be at 800x600 in order for the full PC screen to show up? I've tried higher resolutions and found that only an 800x600 region of the PC screen shows on the TV; use the mouse to pan this window.
What I'm trying to do is use MediaStudio 6.5 in 1024x768 or higher, and have its print-to-tape feature show full-screen on the TV. Right now it shows up as a small box and only on the PC.
I'd really appreciate any hints on these problems.

I don't know anything about MediaStudio, so can't help you there. But yes, the Radeon 64 Vivo (or any sister card using R100 w/Rage Theater chipset) IS limited to 800x600 for TV-out resolution. The Radeon 8500 (or any sister card using R200 w/Rage Theater II chipset) can do 1024x768 resolution on the TV, but any text is usually unreadable unless you make your fonts ungodly big, however if you only care about video this will work fine. With the Rage thater II chip, you can also use a nifty "Theater" video overlay mode (using SOME software video players) that allows you to output full-screen video to the TV no matter what resolution your monitor is at or even with the video minimized to the taskbar.
Hope this helps,
Prospero
