  1. Just started out and have just managed to convert a film that was in 2 parts in bin/cue format onto 2 VCD disks. Just wondering if there was any way to condense these onto 1 disk?

Also, I don't have a DVD player yet and intend to put the film onto video using TV out. (Get the kids off my PC!) Is it best to join the two mpg files first, then transfer them direct? Or is there a better way (Quality wise) of getting this film onto video?

I have read the sections on TMPGEnc, virtualDub etc. but I'm still confused! Would appreciate any help.

  2. Hmmm... not a big problem.

You already have 2 VCD's... see the conversion guide to get them back to your HDD. You end up with 2 MPG-1 files. Join them with TMPG (tools section) and see if it fits Burn the resulting MPEG with NERO as a VCD.

Since the original was in 2 files, chance is they won't fit on one cd without heavy overburning and stuff like that.

TV-OUT just puts VGA to Video..so playing teh movie either way does not make a big difference, except you would have to change disks... for quality it doesn't matter.

    greetz..
