  1. On some DVD I get the following message: This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled." All I am trying to do is watch the DVD on my 32" Tv rather than my 14" Monitor.
Does anybody have a way out for me on this problem?

I have tried different Players but they all give the same problem.

    Thanking you in advance,

    Dirk

  2. I'm sure not just me that confuse, anyway.. I assume you're tring to play DVD from either your laptop or PC through TVout port to TV by using DVD software player. Microvision that blocking you from doing so Dirk, prevent people from copying image through VHS tape before get on TV.

Anyway, without rip, encode, and burn onto CD like everybody else, and with any luck if audio is in the first track, try drop the VOB file from DVD onto Windows Media Player, [alt]+[enter] to full screen, and voilà...

of course, 1 VOB 1 drop, more than that, just think of it as intermission, then you can go "P"

  3. Thank you for your answer Sdispun, but that is a lot of effort one has to go through to watch a rented movie, all I want to do is watch it, I do not understand these film people, my videotheque sells the dvd for 6€ after he has rented it XX times, so it is not worth the effort even to save it on vhs.......
I hope somebody is reading this and can come come up with some type of "switch" maybe even included in programs like "DVD Genie".

You need a Macrovision hack, don't know what's available for your card, seams some of the ATI cards you can just delete a DLL to bypass it
