Hi

I have had my pioneer set to multi word dma mode 2 but just tonight it reset itself back to pio for some reason. I uninstalled the via busmaster drivers and installed them again and it back to multi word dma. My question is do I need to use a 80 wire udma ide cable to get the drive to work in udma or should it work ok with the 40 wire one i have now? Also what is the best setting for the pioneer 104? pio, multi word or udma?
