  1. It can only play VCD's if it is on a CD-RW, it can't play CD-R's anyone know why???

  2. probably cause the bottoms are silver. do you have a sony? you also can always try burning cdrs at 4x or lower

  3. yea I have a Sony, and I have tried burning at 4x, which cd-r's should I try???

  4. I had the same problem with a Toshiba, I used CD-R's that have the Blue-Silver dye very simular in color to the CD-RW, I Used Fry's GQ brand that were 12x, 16x or 24x the newer 32x is silver bottoms. I also undestand that the Sonys in the 50 packs will work.

    try using vivastar 80 mins, or datasafe, also princo all should work
