Where did you get the movie from?, was it an AVI you used to burn?, did you convert it with TMPGEnc using a VCD template?. Did you use good quality disks ?

hi i have the same problem and im just givin my word in
i dont think the quality of cds matter that much... my stand-alone vcd player could play pirated vcds before... and i dont think ppl who make those pirated vcds would make them out of high quality cds.. i had no problem before.. but now it stutters when i try to play my own burned vcds... even when i tried to watch an official vcd it still stutters... so my clue would be that its the player problem... im not sure.. but i think you should get it checked.. as i will with mine
in the meantime try your vcds on a friend's vcd player or somethin...dont waste your time and cds burnin more cds to try to see if they work or not -
it was an avi and i did use TMPGEnc but it still stutters, computers have anti-freeze programs...thats probably why since dvd/vcd players dont

OK, did you scan for junk frames in Vdub first, did you load a VCD template in TMPGEnc
