    I have some clips from a VCD which I captured onto Microsoft Movie Maker and saved as .wmv. How do I convert the file to .asf or .rm so that I could send it to a webserver to be viewed by others on Windows Media Player or Realplayer?

    It's been awhile since I converted to those formats, but Real and Microsoft have free encoders (RealProducer and Windows Media Encoder) for download.
