  1. hi
Some months ago I had the same problem. Each time I downloaded a movie it had pink shadows. it was like the actor was standing still in pink, although he was moving. That makes watching very unpleasent!!
Now I have dowloaded a new DivX Player and the pink shadows are gone. The picture is almost perfect.
But to make a Video CD I have to encode it to a mpeg file. I usually do that with TMPGEnc V. 2.57
After encoding it, the pink shadows are back again in the mpeg file. After burning the VCD, they are also on the VCD.
So please, if anybody had the same problem or knows a sollution to this problem tell me.
I need to burn a VCD without this pink crap.
    THX

I used to have that problem but it was when I did a DivX>vcd and the resulting file had the pink shadow. Turns out it had something to do with filter priority order in TMPG.

    -Hope this helps

  3. problem is, I have really tried out a thousand methods. none of them seemed to be okay...
I have really tried many things with TMPGEnc, too.
I know it has something to do with framesize. but I don`t know if you can fix such a file or not, and if yes, how?
    but thanks a lot
