I know, normaly they all want it the other way. But me, I prefer for my collection DIVX CD's (means "1CD per movie").
So, now my problem is, that I never arrived converting a SVCD movie to divx without a much smaler picture or broken sound.
Is there a way for a good and easy conversion?
Thanx a lot in advance.

tried vidomi ? open the the mpg and encode and then join both.
or try dvd2avi and open both mpg and crop, resize and encode -
TMPGEnc > File > Output to file > AVI
You can also select a codec
You may need a mpeg 2 codec, if using the free TMPGEnc then Nimo codec pack is fine, else install Power DVD 4for TMPGEnc Plus 2.57

@Baldrick
Vidomi works fine, thanx.
But the size of the movie is too small as Divx.
Can you modify this in any way??? -
yes you can modify the size. you should be able to config how big the file should be in vidomi.

@ Baldrick
Well, yes you can.
But only the maximum size.
I entered 800 MB but the films all got a size of around 500 MB.
So in fact the size of the window is small...too small.
It's a big loss in quality...
Is there a way?
