There probably not corrupt.
More than likely that you don't have the codecs.
You don't say if they are VCD or SVCD ,MPEG1 or 2 etc??"Today is only yesterdays tomorrow" -
Hi and thanks for reading/answering.
They are downloaded as mpeg.
"Apornas Planet (Swe Sub)DVD ripSvcd cd1" with the extention .MPEG.
Itīs not able to open it in any player, then I get the message that it must be encoded.
I tried in TMPGEnc but I cant get any sound.
I cant open the file in "virtual-dub" either.
Seems like I have to skip downloading MPEG-files and only search for DivX-files in the future.

Try downloading Nimo Codec Pack first.
You will also need a Player that can handle Mpeg2 like Zoomplayer (available at www.vcdhelp.com)."Today is only yesterdays tomorrow" -
You can play SVCD (mpeg2) files with a software DVD player such as PowerDVD.

Thanks.
The most important is to convert it so I can burn it to my standalone dvd-player.
I dont want to look at the film on my computer.
I use Adaptec Easy...and I cant open the file in that program.
If I convert DivX in TMPGEnc, then I can open it in Adaptec and burn it.

Any mpeg file with "SVCD" or "VCD" in the filename is likely to be VCD/SVCD encoded, simply burn with Nero...
