  1. I have been using TMPGEnc the latest version alot of movies come out great when coverting but i notice some, the sound does not covert? has anyone had this problem and know a resolution.

    Mabey some avi's are a differnt format that TMPGEnc can't decode the sound?

  2. yea, i experience similar mishaps. first
    but it worked a second time after i set some priorities
    i forgot how i did it, but i did use a guide from this site(from the error section).


    thefile iconverted was small (>100megs)
    the bigger movie files seem to never finish for me.
    i suggest try with a small file first



    how long does it take you to convert a movie?
    how fast is your pc?

  3. ok, go to option>Environmental setting>VFAPl plug-in

    click on directshow, that is right click and increase the priority to 1 or 2
