    ok im trying to convert a movie in tmpgenc... the movies is about 700 mb big.. its and avi file and its about 59 minutes. now when i encode it with the vcd setting the file size comes out to 1 gig... i dont understand why... can anyone help me??

    You have to be changing to settings off of standard VCD format for 60 min to equal a gig.....
    Are you using standard VCD template?
    Remember that for standard VCD (roughly 10mb per min) the bitrate is constant 1150kbs res is 352x240 audio is 224kbs.
