  1. WHEN I TRY TO BURN A VCD ONTO A 80MIN CD, THERE SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR 800MEGS RIGHT? BUT NERO COMPLAINS THAT THE CD ISN'T BIG ENOUGH TO BURN IT, BUT THE MOVIE IS ONLY 788MEGS..WHAT DO I DO?

    It depends on the brand of CDR, but the most you will get on an 80min disk is 737Mb - less if you use CD-I compatibility mode and menus - sorry

  4. I need to burn 90min CD-Rs. It has a 800mb capacity but Nero only sees it as 700MB. What can I do diffrent in Nero.

  5. You can fit about 800 megs on an 80 min CDR if it is burned as an audio CD, VCD, or SVCD. If you are buring a data CD you can only fit about 700 megs on an 80 min CD.
    So jupiter, the MPG should fit on the CD as long as you are buring it as a VCD or SVCD.

  6. BUT IT DOESN'T FIT AND I AM BURNING A VCD..NERO SAYS THAT I SHOULD INSERT A DISC THAT HAS ENOUGH MEMORY TO RECORD ONTO AND THE DISC DOES..IS THERE A SETTING THAT I HAVE TO ADJUST OR SOMETHING TO MAKE NERO READ THE 80 MIN CD?

    Apart from the mpeg, ther is another track and some files folders. are they taking up the room ?

  8. THERE ARE SOME OTHER FILES AND FILE FOLDERS:

    THIS IS WHAT IT IS:

    CDI=1,431,377 BYTES
    EXT=94,885 BYTES
    MPEGAV=788,238,336 BYTES
    SEGMENT=0 BYTES
    VCD=69, 656 BYTES

    ANY OTHER IDEAS AT WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE OR IS IT SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ABOVE..PLEASE HELP..THIS IS MY FIRST VCD CREATION.

  9. Try this:

    Open Nero and choose File --> Preferences.

    Then select the Expert Features tab at the top.

    Tick the box Enable overburn and in the Maximum CD Length put 80 mins 0 secs and 0 frm.
