  3. I have not tried it but Virtual Dub has a plug in that removes logos that are sometimes put in the corner of videos. They are sometimes called bugs. It only claims to remove static (non moving) elements so maybe it won't work. Get Virual Dub in the Tools section over on the left. Go here:

    http://sauron.mordor.net/dgraft/

for the DeLogo plugin filter. (Look under "Hosted")

Here is what it says it is for:

"The DeLogo filter is designed to remove static elements, i.e. logos or watermarks from video source. While there are many ways how to put a logo to a video, DeLogo filter only covers those that are really static, i.e. not moving and not animated. On the other hand, it can successfully remove alpha-blended logos without destroying the picture beneath.

DeLogo filter features two logo removal techniques. First of them is called DeBlend and it is designed to remove alpha blended logos using given alpha and color mask, which are supposed to be the real alpha and color mask of the logo. While it may be really tricky to create such masks, DeLogo filter features even an analyser which can do all the work for you.

The second technique - repair - comes where the first fails. Opaque logos can not be deblended because there is no remnant visible through the logo. These pixels must be painted anew depending on color of pixels surrounding the opaque part."

    Good Luck

Ive never used the Delogo filter but I have used a similar one called LogoAway and it will do exactly what you want to do, at least as much as can possibly be done.

There is no way to actually remove anything from a picture except to crop it out, thus removing everything in that area. These logo removing filters crop out the selected area and blend the remaining background in to fill the gap. During some scenes of your movie it will look perfect and you will not notice that anything was there. In other scenes you will see a blurry box that looks far worse than any counter would. Give it a try if you want to, all in all it does work quite well.

The counter must be "Zähler", but never seen a "counter" in a movie.
    What does it count?

Actually the delogo filter can apply an algorithm to "alpha" logos so they fade out, leaving the original background in its place.

Obviously if the logo or counter is opaque then the background will be blended as above.

If it counts down only the movie, you can leave it or cut the frames. But if I interpret corrctly, the counter is visible during the whole (or bigger parts) of the movie. So what counter could that be (timestamp?)

Ist es in der Nähe vom Rand, dann können Sie es hinaus kupieren?

Is it close to the edge, then you can crop it out ?
