I ripped and burned the Phantom Menace to 2 DVD's and DVD1 seems to have a problem. It plays fine in a PC DVD drive but on 2 different tabletop players it has a small problem during the intro of the movie. It plays great until it gets to the STAR WARS title and then locks up after 30 seconds. If I skip to chapter 3... there is one other little freeze.. and then the movie seems to play fine. (I didn't play more than 3 or 4 mins so far.)
On another player it just skips everything instead of locking after 30 seconds and goes right to chapter 3. I thought it might have been a bad DVD-R or a bad burn so I burned it again on a DVD-RW. Same problem... same place. Works great in the DVD-R drive but hangs/skips on the 2 tabletop players. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening? Thanks.
