Hi,
Thanks in advance. Here is my dilemma:
I have the Yamaha RX-V493 Receiver. It was Dolby Digital Ready when I
bought it, but did not have a Digital Decoder onboard.
Therefore, I'm looking for a Set Top DVD player that has the
followingFeatures.
*Dolby Digital Decoder Onboard
*Plays Mp3's & VCD's
*Has Component Out
*One tray, 2, or 5 doesn't matter!)
Does anyone have any recommendations? Most of the players I've found are
all 5 disc Carousel's (Toshiba SD3205 which does not have MP3!) or Video
Tape/DVD (Samsung 2000) Other's I've found don't have MP3 playback. (some
Sony's) I don't mind used, or new.
A little offtopic: So, DVD converts digital to Analog and feeds it to Receiver which has Analog 5.1 in. (that's why I'm buying a DVD with Decoder onboard) So should I be getting a Digital Receiver instead, with a regular old Optical out DVD player? Or is it the same? What about in terms of music cd's?
THANK YOU!![]()
