I have downloaded a Chinese VCD mpg file. When I play with Microsoft MediaPlayer, the audio is in Cantonese. But after I burn the mpg to a VCD disk and play on a DVD player, it has Cantonese audio in Left channel and Mandarin in Right channel. Why is this happening and what can I do correct that so I have only Cantonese or Mandarin in the burned VCD?
Thanks.
Steve

Demultiplex the audio from the video and load it into an audio editor like Gold Wave. Copy the audio in the left channel to the right, or vice versa depending on which dialect you prefer. Save the Wave file. Remultiplex the Wave with the video and the audio you prefer will come out of both channels.

Thanks for the help. It does solve the problem. However, I still don't understand why windows media player play the audio perfectly fine! Any idea?
