  1. Hi, i've been a member of VCD Help forums for quite some time, but this is my first post (since i've never had any problems converting and/or authoring before ), i've downloaded HowHigh(2001).VITE.ShareReactor.avi this is a 715Meg file and i'm using VirtualDub to split it into 3 .avi's so i can then use TMPGEnc to convert it to .mpeg's and then i use VCDEasy to convert it to .bin/.cue (SVCD) and burn it with VCDEasy.
My problem is that when the file is spit using VirtualDub, the 1st file is fine but on the other 2 files the audio is out of sync with the film; what i did was i took the original 715Meg file and use Direct Stream Copy in VirtualDub to split the file (into 3 .avi's), then went to audio used Full Processing Mode to get .wav's of each file.
Now like i said before the first file came out perfect but the other two the audio is about 30secs. ahead and that's very annoying .
Any help or input would be much appreciated .

P.S. i've done this before with StarWars .avi film that i've downloaded and i split it into 4 files and burned it into 4CD's and it works great (i used the exact same method), but when i tried to do it with Ghost Of Mars.avi that i had it gave me the same problem: out of sync audio.

Just rip .wav with virtualdub(the whole movie) and use the source range filter in tmpg. Or, you can encode the whole movie then use the mpeg tools in tmpg to cut that.

  4. I have much better success with sync when I cut the movie as an MPEG with TMPGE rather than cutting it as an AVI before encoding
