Not being one to mess with something when it was working, I never messed with any of the "other settings" option in tmpge. Until recently. I have been leaving the video setting to full screen. I suppose my question is does setting it to full screen keep ratio improve the picture quality on the television? Of course I will be finding out this evening when I get home and burn the movies that are encoding right now, just wanted to find out right now while I am at work. Again, thanks.

full screen is like a vhs tape = entire tv screen
full screen keep aspect ratio = widescreen picture
I find it all depends on the source quality
and encoding bitrates
tho full screen keep aspect ratio
should look much nicer
