Use vcdeasy to create a bin/cue after you encode with tmpgenc and then from the file tab in nero select "burn image" change the file type in the drop down box from .img to "all files" and select burn. It will prompt you to correct the blocksize..change to 2352 and burn away.

or even easier get fireburner or cdrwin and load the cuesheet that vcdeasy creates and burn away!

  4. Ok i got TMPG but when i try to open an avi file i still get an error message. The .avi file opens with divx but the file has the windows media logo on it.

    What I want to do:
I have an .avi file that I can view on my computer, I want to burn that file to a cd with a cd burner without losing the quality of the file. I don't know the best way to do this, I assumed since reading forum posting that taking the .avi file converting to an vcd or svcd file and then burning it was the best option. But like I said when i try to burn the avi file as a video compl. with nero it says file format not supported.(why can't you just burn from .avi to video cd i thougt dvd players supported avi format.

But even with me trying to convert the .avi file to vcd file, when i try to open the avi file in TMPG it says file not supported.

    Can anyone help me???
    thanks very much
