  1. I noticed recently that in TmpgEnc tools you can mulitiplex 2 audio mp2 files and a video file together .m2v and you can watch this on windows media player and change the language no problem but when i burn it to cd it dont work on my standalone. Now i recently visited asia where i bought some vcds that had 2 channels on them and they worked on my standalone. I think they were both in mono. when you encode the audio in tmpgenc what should it be. both encoded as joint stereo or mono or both stereo. thanks

  2. Sorry.. thought you meant vcd

the answer is whatever you like.. it is a seperate track AFAIK.

Commercial dual track vcd's premix the audio into one mp2:
dual channel, left track:language1, right track language2
