  1. on the sys req it say 700mhz
    i want to know it i can use it on my k6-2 350 or if needed my k6-2 500

    i know some things can work fine on a computer that has less then the sys req

  2. 104 has got buffer underun protection, so it should work on both...

    BUT with cpu prices so low why are you using such slow processors? In the UK a Duron 800 cpu is under £30! Plus, if you're using a 104 to author dvd's, then you'll need a huge hard drive, at least about 3 times your project (4.33 gig * 3 = about 13 gig) spare!

    Think about your system spec's before you buy a 104!
    And remember it's only a 2x drive, so will take a long, long time if your system can't keep up!

    buy another hard drive

    i don't think it'll work on your comp it just doesn't have the power to pull it off maybe the 500 mhz one...

  5. well i have over 180gig in hdd space on the 350mhz
    yes a dvd will play on it dvdrom drives came out when the p1 233 was out i belive

    i am going to be buying a amd 2100+mp with over 800gig hdd and like 2 gig in ram soon

  6. i am not goign to be doing much prossesing i will be doing thing like backing up xbox/ps2 and buring data mainly not doing much video prossesing work

  7. That's not the point I was making.....

    The 104 will work, but if you're system can't keep up, then it will take a long, long time to burn your ps backups, as the system will be playing catch up! Burn-proof will stop the backups from being coasters, but is it worth it?
