Alright, I don't think I have ever seen this posted here and it was something my friends and I thought long and hard about-in what series of movies was a sequel superior to the original? I know I am opening this up for a lot of argument, but I just wanted to see what people would say-
And I am going to take away the first two that came to my mind-
Empire Strikes Back
Superman 2
Anyone...anyone?

I think Titanic 2 was great.
Batman Returns and Rush Hour 2 would have to be on that list for me. -
The Houston Gangbang......I think she did 680 men compared to Annabel Chong who only manged a paltry 500 dishings of horizontal refreshment
Ok so technically this aint a movie but it sure was entertaining
As I'm more into being a movie buff than watching movie muff I'm gonna give you some serious suggestions as well:-
Howz about:-
Evil Dead 2
Godfather 2
Dawn Of The Dead (follow up to Night Of The Living Dead)
E.T. 2 (sorry that was a joke -

Does that make 2 better? I dunno.
Other than that, Superman 2, Rush Hour 2, Terminator 2... looks like yuo guys covered it pretty well..
Except I would put "Army Of Darkness" (which is "Evil Dead 3", let's face it) ahead of 2 or 1 of that series. It's gotta be one of the top 10 funny/goofy/unique movies I've seen, ever.
And, technically, Star Wars Episode II is a sequel to Episode I, and II was much more entertaining (when it was). If you're into Star Wars.
